Dave Wirsching, Principal

Dave has an extensive background in consulting, technology, and marketing.  Experienced in both customer care and database marketing, he has been active in the many aspects of digital marketing for the last several years.   Among his many interests, Dave has been an active blogger since 2007 and contributes to several blogs on a regular basis.  As the principal member and founder of Why About Marketing, Dave works with clients to help them maximize the value of digital and social media.  Not only a consultant, he understands what it takes to run a successful business.  During the past six years, he has been a co-owner of a full service, independent Title Insurance agency in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. 

Formerly a Managing Director at BearingPoint (KPMG Consulting) he has also held management roles with Electronic Data Systems and Booz-Allen & Hamilton.  Throughout his career, Dave has provided technology, customer care, and marketing solutions to a variety of clients in industries ranging from technology to health care and finance.

Dave is a Navy veteran who served at sea and in the Naval Intelligence community.  He is a graduate of Cornell University and holds a Masters Degree in Information Technology from The George Washington University.  He is active in local and civic organizations and serves on the executive committee of the Pennsylvania Land Title Association.
